Soundcloud still holds its own in terms of music discovery, and since many artists who upload there don't always upload to other popular DSPs, many songs from these rising artists stay exclusive to the platform for at least some time. One artist who gained traction from their Soundcloud uploads is wolfacejoeyy, whose sound continues to blossom into a bigger picture and vision. Now returning to build versatility, wolfacejoeyy drops his new EP hues vol.1.

The three-track project gifts listeners a complete offering of sound, including drum and bass, pop, and pluggnb genres. The first track, "i wish it was the same," weighs in as the clear standout, giving listeners a new side of wolfacejoeyy's musical aptitude. The drum and bass production hits unexpectedly but smoothly transitions into a song where the rising artist finds a pocket of renewed, catchy flows. Track two, "tonight," showcases a more familiar and soothing style that wolfacejoeyy captures over lyrics regarded to a lover. The final track, "lullaby," offers the pluggnb serenade regarding an outdated love interest who's playing games and potentially clout chasing.

The new EP is another strong showing from wolfacejoeyy, and it's become hard to ignore the talent radiating from the rising artist. Get hip and stream hues, vol. 1 below.
