SEA is just one of those artists who possess natural talent, and it becomes more undeniable with every listen. First hitting my radar from this snippet about a year back (I still love this), SEA's vocals play to a most satisfying tune, carrying a silkiness that seems to knit a blanket around listeners' ears. Now returning for her second single of 2022 with Korrye Armstrong, the duo release their new collaboration, "losing control."
The low-key anthem, dedicated to the hardship of commitment, sees SEA and Korrye Armstrong trade lines about the issues that arise in relationships and the effects that dawn on one's mental health. Korrye Armstrong lays a smooth chorus about lonely feelings and discovering himself in the relationship, while SEA comes in for a complementing verse detailing her loved one MIA when she needed him there and trying to ignore the pain that came with it. The sound presents a potent R&B vibe; think late nights and heartbreak.
