The diving board is a metaphor for where redveil stands now, and I imagine a big one, with many flights and a steep fall from the top. Reaching this platform in itself is quite an accomplishment as not many can even say they stood on that edge. Jumping, however, might take even more courage than the actual climb. Putting in the work (climbing the steps) is fulfilling, but when pressure is on, and reality unfolds (jumping off the board), it's both scary and exciting. Connecting themes, the message is evident: redveil has determined the destiny of greatness, and lyrics form a verbal acceptance of accomplishments, perseverance, and fate. In other words, redveil is ready to make the jump. Lyricism alludes to hurdling any new barriers thrown his way and staring excellence in the face.
