Primm Takes it "day by day" on New Single

Primm hits our pages for the first time with an unrestrained new offering. Not much info is available on this multi-talent rising in the underground, but the sounds are unique, hugging a median between genre-pushing rap and alternative. Primm's 2022 release, "impulsive," was the one that initially caught my attention with a distinct and heartening vocal display, introducing an innovative approach to the unbounded production choice. Now returning to showcase another edge to versatility and talent, Primm drops "day by day."

The new single gets to the point with a lover who's lost grasp on their relationship and possibly succumbing to harmful coping mechanisms. Primm begins in a reminiscent state: "stare in your eyes, perfect blue color, is there another?" The relationship seemed flawless on Primm's side, describing a once-irreplaceable soul. The story soon unfolds when Primm exclaims," They took you away, don't let them pills help you." Present tense soon turns to the past, while spirits decay and emotions become tender. The euphoric, somber chorus takes the spotlight on this track, describing the day-to-day pain and exhaustion Primm encounters without this person while bearing their confusion. The song builds to a vibrant finale, where Primm pleads, "why don't you tell me?" The tone gives a willingness to revive this relationship, but transparency and devotion on the other side are dissolving "day by day."
