FELIX! Offers New Two-Pack With "BACK 2 BACK" & "ANTWERP SIX"
Van Buren Records announced a new series for the next month called Van Buren Tuesdays. Last week, SAINT LYOR released a powerful track titled "Talking Drums" to start things off. Now, it's FELIX! (fka Lord Felix) who takes the spotlight, offering two new songs that touch on all of his dexterities, titled "BACK 2 BACK" and "ANTWERP SIX."
"BACK 2 BACK" is a woozy trap drum joint where FELIX! eloquently slides high-pitched vocals across the quirky production. With lyrics regarding his fashion taste and waking up blessed, FELIX! applies his recent growth to a psychedelic sound he's been familiar with in previous years. "ANTWERP SIX" is on the opposite end of the spectrum, unveiling a gritty, boom-bap sound. FELIX! keeps it real, addressing how he can be viewed as a threat, avoiding fake love, and calling out trash music from the competition.
"BACK 2 BACK" is produced by moedoisnice & h.illa, while "ANTWERP SIX" features production from 2ForWoyne and Van Buren's own Ricky Felix.
Both songs are a strong showing from the Brockton artist, and a chance to hear some new material as a solo artist. Hear the new tracks below.
