Ausar & Bairi Connect For New Single "Love Is"
Two of the hottest artists on the rise come through for a caressing collaboration. Chicago native Ausar has continued to collect attention over the past few years with his sterling lyricism and increasingly impressive sound. Hershey, Pennsylvania-born Bairi maintains a similar trajectory with vocal development and consistency, indicating new heights with every feature and release. Now teaming up for a soothing blend of sound and vocals, the duo drops their new single, "Love Is."
"Love Is" tends to Ausar's growing style and direction, which has become more apparent over the past few releases (see "Homies" and "Vanity"). The Chicagoan shows off even more dimensions of vocal capabilities, intertwining substantial and soulful vocality with his usually impressive writing and flows. Ausar starts a verse where he defines the authentic feeling of love, conveying his willingness to commit to that somebody. The hook is addictingly tender, where Ausar details even a day without this person is unimaginable, and crisp backing vocals help to elevate the sound even higher. Bairi comes in for her take on a verse, and it's become amazing to hear how much influence her voice holds in a record; she knows how to use her vocals to enhance every pocket, and the past few releases and features have heavily illustrated this. The captivating vocalist continues the loving lyrics, comfortably delivering her take on what love means to her.
Production is handled by Southpaw Swade, Stnfxce, and DNoel (with J. Pelham, Pat Junior, and Marc Anthony) who create a compelling piano symphony soaked in drums with a precise bounce.
